Rebecca has always had a passion for Christian Camping from the time she first attended camp in third grade. She and her husband met and were married at a camp where they served on staff. Rebecca received a degree in Christian Education from Simpson University where she emphasized in Christian Camping. Over the years she has worked for several Christian and non-profit organizations, but her first love has always remained camping. “Nothing moves me more than when I see a room full of excited children or young people worshipping the Lord together. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a light come on in a child when they realize they are special in God’s sight; to witness a young person being transformed throughout a weekend or week of camp—what an awesome thing!” Rebecca also has a passion for music and drama. She has directed a Music/Arts Camp through her church for many years. When not working for Sierra Pines, she has her own business as a Professional Organizer.

Jason is originally from Wisconsin and has most recently worked in camps in northern Minnesota. Jason has been working at camps for nearly 14 years doing all sorts of stuff. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, biking, canoeing, archery and taking photos. Jason says "I came to California for a new adventure and to expand my career in camping. As the maintenance guru I do just about everything from cleaning toilets to fixing pipes, to painting and whatever else needs to be done—helping in the kitchen and even a little bit of program stuff!" Jason is our certified pool operator, volunteers in South Lake Tahoe with Boy Scouts, and helps in a local South Lake Tahoe youth ministry.
